Najlaa is Spark Power’s Vice President of People & Culture (Human Resources). She has over 10 years of experience in employee engagement, human resources and leadership development in non-profit, education and electrical contracting services. She is responsible for leading the organization in the areas of culture, and talent attraction, retention and development.
Najlaa started her career in fundraising and volunteer engagement with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. After achieving her Masters in Business Administration in Human Resources, she lead the Student Engagement team at the Goodman School of Business (Brock University) for four years developing leadership programs for high-potential student leaders and managing the undergraduate student recruitment portfolio. In 2017, Najlaa joined Spark Power to lead and develop the Human Resources function with a focus on integration of multiple acquisitions. She currently represents Spark Power on the Electricity Human Resources of Canada Empowering Futures Steering Committee.
