Gloria Pakravan is Senior Director of Talent Management at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, the largest healthcare organization in Canada with over 16,000 employees.  In this capacity, Gloria leads a dynamic team focused on Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Volunteer Resources, Talent Development and Succession Management. She joined UHN in 2021 at a time when health human resources were at a crisis point. Gloria is implementing innovative programs that are building capacity, resilience and engagement in the organization and is overseeing teams that are designing processes and initiatives that help recruit and retain talent and create a workplace culture that is seen as a destination to start and grow careers for health professionals.

Gloria is a visionary leader acknowledged for her transformational leadership in aligning culture to drive employee engagement and impact business outcomes. She is a recognized expert, profiled in trade publications and a seasoned speaker at national and global HR conferences and symposiums.  Prior to UHN, Gloria has held progressively more senior roles including at such organizations as Toronto Police Service, Royal Sun Alliance and Scotiabank.
